Of course, my first key word is PR, but more than PR, I also enjoy campaign creating, strategy developing and media content analysis. Graduating in May, 2024 with a Masters degree in Public Relations & Advertising. Can’t wait to become a master of PR.
I love random things, and I love putting random stuffs together, which usually collides into something surprising, hopefully satisfying, and if it makes people laugh or feel something, that’s better.
Can’t live without music, literally! I sing + play guitar + piano. Just got the first place of a singing competition, but I’m still shaky on stage. Hope I can project myself better on stage in the future.
Unlike big name city Beijing or Shanghai that everyone knows of, whenever someone asks me “which part of China are you from” I usually describe my hometown as “Super cold in the winter, kinda close to Russia and in some parts of the region we can see North Korea from across the river”, which is true. The little hat is my winter essential in -27 degree celcius to protect my ears from falling.
I value a lot of my cross-cultural experience. Coming to the US alone to put myself out in a new environment is challenging yet exciting.
Community means so much to me, and I’m committed to take care of and support the people around me.
Meet Lily! She was my roommate’s cat during my senior year, but she passed away at the age of 11, and she will always be my favorite cat.
You might wonder what are these wiggly lines, it’s a spectrogram. I considered myself a life-long learner of linguistics, especially interested in experimental phonetics (researching speech sounds, and these wiggly lines), and historical phonology reconstruction (how language sounds hundreds of years ago)
Going to college abroad just automatically makes you a good cook. The piture is pork short rib with shitake mushroom.
Earned my Alma Meter at University of Washington, which is a wonderful four year experience for me, double majored in communications and linguistics and have a lot of good friends. Ironically the first UW football game I watched is when I’m in USC, and UW won. I saw this little guy in a vintage store in Fremont, Seattle.
I got my first camera at the age of 10, because my dad is a photographer, and I just naturally learned to take photos. I have over 26,000 pictures in my phone (yes, paying for the 2T icloud monthly), and I bet there are even more on my laptop. Check out my work at the Portfolio tab.
Perpetually curious, relentless in my pursuit of excellence
Looking forward to find my own place in the creative industry and contribute my passion towards creative strategy, content creation & campaign building to the professional world.
